RVAPB - Phase 2 Focus Group

As a valued participant in the Richmond People's Budget initiative, we invite you to be a part of  a focus group to hear your thoughts on Cycle 1 of Richmond People’s Budget. Researchers from Virginia Commonwealth University’s Center for Public Policy are leading this focus group to make sure these efforts are meeting the needs of the community . This follows-up on  focus groups they conducted in September 2024, where we sought information about why people were participating and their experiences to date. Your insights will continue to inform VCU’s independent evaluation of the People’s Budget, and they will be included in a report that researchers will present to the Richmond City Council later in the year. The report will provide the City Council with information on where this initiative has been successful as well as where it can be improved in the future.

The focus group will take place virtually on July 29th at 7 PM EST and will last for approximately 90 minutes.
